I used Helen's services for my two small dogs - a minpin and a chihuahua cross. Helen was very communicative and explained the whole Rover process to me. We met her beforehand for a meet and greet, which was great because when I dropped off my dogs, I was taking them to somewhere they'd already been. Helen provided lots of photos and updates while I was away and made sure that the dogs were comfortable in the middle of a heat wave. I'll definitely use Helen again!

Helen was fabulous with Lucas. It was the first time Lucas was away from us for more than a day. We were a bit concerned about having to do that. I am always confident in leaving my dog, Winston, with Helen and her family. He’s a toothless, dribbly, little old man and they treat him like a prince. I have literally received update photos from Helen with Winston sitting on a pillow, like royalty. Her family treats him like family with cuddles in bed and personalized walks. My only worry when he stays with Helen is that Winston won’t want to come home!

Helen and her family did a great job of taking care of our dogs. She was regularly updating us and sending us pictures. One of our dogs is very scared of other dogs and people, he just wouldn't let anyone get near him. I couldn't believe my eyes when she sent me a picture of Helen's daughter hugging Chipotle. We spent our vacation without any worries, we knew that our dogs are being treated like family members. I would very highly recommend Helen, she and her family really love dogs.

Helen and family were great! Before going on my vacation Helen asked questions about my dog to ensure everything went smoothly while Pumpkin was in her care.I got beautiful pictures of Pumpkin and updates about all the activities during the three weeks he spent with Helen and family. That made me feel great knowing he was active and happy. During my time away she was also very prompt in responding to messages.
I will definitely consider leaving Pumpkin again with Helen and family as I know this is another home for him.

Carlos had a great time at Helen's. He is not used to being left and usually gets stressed when I leave him, but he had such a nice time that he was happy to go again the next day. If he could talk, he would be bugging me to stay with Helen and her family again :)
Lovely home, lots of space and safe yard. Helen, her husband and teenage kids are great. They all gave lots of cuddles and attention to my little friend. He will hopefully get to spend time with them again soon.

Helen took amazing care of my little Chihuahua-Terrier mix, Charlie for a weekend very last minute when I was in a pinch to find a sitter. Helen and her family were very accommodating with Charlie's separation anxiety and some of her other quirks (she's quite needy and a bit of an escape artist). Helen took Charlie out for multiple walks per day along with her dog, Lily and sent me frequent text updates and photos of what Charlie had been up to. On the way home, Charlie was whimpering a little which I know is a good sign that she enjoyed her stay as she was already missing Helen and her family.

Our first visit with Helen was a 6 hour "play date" for Sophie. Helen kept us updated on their day with lots of photos and videos, showing that Sophie was fitting in quite nicely.
At the end of the day, we had to coax her out of the house, seems she was quite content to stay longer. I think this means she had a good day! Sophie and her parents look forward to her next visit without any concerns. Helen and her family are lovely. It's a calm, inviting environment for our sometimes anxious and nervous puppy

Our little boy Toby stayed with Helen and her family for two weeks (May 30th to June 14th, 2019). We had a great meet and greet ahead of time. Toby was instantly at ease and happy in Helen's home. Helen took time to find out about Toby's needs, routine, and preferences. While we were away, Toby had a wonderful time with Helen and her family. Toby essentially had a vacation of his own. Our 2 dogs stayed with Helen and her family for 2.5 weeks. From the meet and greet the dogs took to her right away. During their stay Helen would send pictures and give an update on how they are doing and what they have been up to. They have a park across the street which the dogs used a lot. I really enjoyed the updates. Our dogs blended in well with their family and they were very happy. We’ve already booked the dogs for another stay with Helen for next month.
